1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words carry the meaning given here:

• "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions in their current form
• "Service" means any watch repair, inspection, or assessment provided by Chronohaven
• "Website" means the Chronohaven website at chronohavenx.world
• "We / Us / Our" means Chronohaven, located at 219 Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110
• "You / User" means any person who visits the Website or engages with our services
• "Watch" means any timepiece or personal item submitted to us for inspection or repair

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Website or submitting a watch for service, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or guardian
• You have the authority to enter into this Agreement on behalf of yourself or any organisation you represent
• You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Website or submit a watch for service.

3. Service Description

Chronohaven provides mechanical watch servicing from our workshop in Bangkok. Our principal services are:

• Water-Resistance Check & Reseal — gasket inspection, pressure assessment, and resealing
• Automatic Movement Tune — movement cleaning, lubrication, and regulation
• Heirloom Revival Service — full movement overhaul, refinishing, and sympathetic restoration

Services are available to customers visiting our Bangkok premises. We do not currently offer postal or courier-in services. Geographic coverage is limited to customers who can deliver and collect in person.

4. User Responsibilities

When using the Website or engaging with our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself and any watch submitted
• Inform us of any known defects, previous repairs, or modifications to a watch before service commences
• Collect your watch within a reasonable time after service completion — we will notify you when it is ready
• Use the Website for lawful purposes only and not attempt to disrupt its operation
• Refrain from submitting unsolicited commercial communications via our contact form

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, imagery, design, and brand elements — is the property of Chronohaven or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property law.

You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute Website content without our prior written consent.

6. Payment Terms

• Prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• A confirmed service quotation is provided before work begins; your approval is obtained before proceeding
• Payment is due upon collection of the watch
• We accept cash and common electronic payment methods available at our premises
• Where additional parts or work are identified mid-service, we will communicate this and obtain your agreement before proceeding
• If you decline additional work, the watch will be returned in its current state and any work completed to that point will be charged at the agreed partial rate

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. If a service does not resolve the issue it was intended to address, please contact us and we will discuss the matter plainly.

7. Service Delivery

• Estimated turnaround times are provided at intake and represent good-faith estimates, not contractual commitments
• Watches submitted for complex services (such as Heirloom Revival) may require additional time; we will keep you informed
• We take reasonable care of any watch in our possession and store items securely while in our workshop
• We accept watches for service at our sole discretion; we may decline items we judge unsuitable for the scope of our work
• Watches not collected within 90 days of notification may be subject to a storage fee; we will contact you before applying any such charge

8. Disclaimers

The Website and its content are provided for informational purposes. To the extent permitted by Thai law:

• We do not guarantee that the Website will be available without interruption or error
• We make no representations about the suitability of services for any particular watch without first inspecting it in person
• Pricing shown on the Website is indicative; final pricing is confirmed at the time of intake
• Watch repair involves inherent variability; we cannot guarantee specific timekeeping results

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability in connection with any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service in question.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of sentimental value. We are not liable for pre-existing faults that become apparent during service, provided we inform you promptly upon discovery.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Chronohaven against any claim or loss arising from your breach of this Agreement, your provision of inaccurate information, or your unlawful use of the Website.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a service arrangement by giving reasonable notice. If you withdraw a watch from service mid-process, charges for work completed to that point remain payable. We may decline future service arrangements at our discretion if previous engagements have not been settled in good faith.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute:

• We ask that you contact us first at [email protected] so we may attempt an informal resolution
• If informal resolution is not reached within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to the competent courts in Bangkok
• Nothing in this clause prevents you from seeking urgent interim relief where necessary

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: these Terms, together with any written service quotation, constitute the full agreement between us
• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect
• Waiver: our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right
• Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent
• Notices: formal notices should be sent in writing to our address or to [email protected]

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Website or our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
