How Every Watch is Handled
Assessment
Visual and functional assessment. Findings described in plain language. No work proceeds without your agreement.
Documentation
Scope and price confirmed in writing. Timeline estimated. Watch logged and stored in a labelled individual tray.
Servicing
Work carried out to the agreed scope using appropriate tools and lubricants. You are contacted if anything changes.
Handover
Watch returned with written notes on what was done, parts used, and — for movement services — timing figures.

Water-Resistance Check & Reseal

Inspection and resealing of gaskets with a pressure-free resistance assessment for daily-wear watches. A sensible visit before swimming or travel seasons. Findings are explained plainly with options for any parts needed.
- Crown, caseback, and pushers inspected

Automatic Movement Tune

Heirloom Revival Service

A thorough revival for inherited watches, covering movement overhaul, careful refinishing, and sympathetic part replacement. Created for owners who want a cherished piece running and presentable again. The process is paced and transparent throughout.

Heirloom revivals are assessed individually. The price above reflects standard scope. If the piece requires specialist parts that affect the cost, this is discussed and agreed before that work is done.

Standards
Protocols Applied to All Three Services
Regardless of which service your watch requires, these practices apply across the workshop.
Individual Watch Security
Every piece is logged on arrival, stored in a labelled tray, and tracked through each stage. Nothing is mixed with other customers' watches.
Calibre-Specific Lubrication
Moebius lubricant series used throughout, matched to the type and location of the components being oiled. Not a general-purpose compromise.
Written Scope Agreement
Nothing begins without a written assessment agreed with the owner. Scope changes are discussed before they happen, not revealed on collection.
Watchmaker-Only Hands
All work is handled by a qualified watchmaker — not delegated to assistants for cleaning or partial reassembly.
No Work Without Agreement
If something unexpected is found mid-service, work is paused and you are contacted. Nothing is done beyond agreed scope without your approval.
Full Parts Transparency
Any component replaced during a service is listed in the handover notes with its origin. You know exactly what is in your watch.
