Krit was honest at the assessment that the movement overhaul was straightforward but that sourcing a bracelet clasp of the right period would take time. It did — five and a half weeks — but the result is a watch I now wear regularly. He was also honest that polishing the case to a high shine would remove evidence of age and asked what I preferred. I chose to keep it light and I'm glad I did.
